I have found MS Office databases to be fragile. When I had the 2008 version, it was corrupted by an MS Office upadate. The same thing recently occurred to me in MS Office 2011 after I migrated to a new iMac. The tech support person from Microsoft had to reinstall MS Office 2011 from scratch and I had to start over with a new Main Identity.
