I am trying to set up a new (Verizon) iPhone to sync Contacts and Calender entries with Outlook 2007 on a Windows Vista Ultimate PC. The Contacts sync both ways, and calendar entries created in Outlook sync to the phone, but calendar entries created on the phone don't sync back to Outlook. Calendar: Click to select the Sync iCal Calendars check box, and then select the calendars that you want to sync. Contacts: Click to select the Sync Address Book Contacts check box, and then select the contacts that you want to sync. Notes: Under Other, click to select the Sync notes check box.

It can make it confusing to remember which app has your information. If you already have events in your calendar and anther sync software installs its own calendar app, you’ll have to move those events into the new app.

I miss the Entourage Calendar a bit, and haven't adapted to having different calendars to get the different colors for different categories. For the moment, Contacts still sync. I don't think they will after May 5th since sync services will not longer work - so I'll have to adapt to manually updating Entourage. I can't imagine going to mail as I have a huge file folder system in Entourage and a history of many years both professionally and privately is indispensable.

Note: In Outlook 2007, you'll need to add the command to the Quick Access Toolbar. Calendar doesn't print If you print a calendar from Outlook and it is either blank or missing appointments, verify that you have the correct calendar selected.
