Hello You fail to mention which operating system you are using. I use Mac OSX and Debian Linux so my answer is from that background. You also do not mention which version of iPad and IOS version of the iPad you are using. I have some questions. Have you downloaded the online manual for the printer? Are you printing directly from the iPad to the printer or is the printer connected to your computer and the computer sharing the printer? Mac or windows for coding.

How do you PING a MAC? Assuming no IP or hostname info, I have used a portscanner (like LanSpy or Zenmap) to get MAC > IP info.
